Planet Mars is once again closest to our planet this week.
Every two years, Mars will approach the Earth for a close encounter. Therefore it will appear brightest and biggest for a few months.
For this year (2014). the best time to view is from February till June, with April being the best time to see.
Finding Mars is easy. For the whole month of April, Mars will rise just after sunset. By 10pm, it will be quite high in the eastern sky. There will be 2 orange colour stars in the eastern sky. One is Arcturus. Mars will be the orange star near to a bright blue/white star (spica).
There are plenty of information in the net to help you to locate it. However, if you have problem finding it, please email us.
